Jack Prewitt founded The Prewitt Group, originally named J.R. Prewitt & Associates, on November 15, 1974. Jack has over fifty years’ experience in the insurance industry.
He is a long-time member of the Rotary Club of Shades Valley, serves on the Board of Directors of Workshops, Inc., is on the board of Impact Family Counseling, and is a past board member of the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
He and his wife Mary Ann have been married for over 60 years and have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Jack has always had a passion for flying, although he hung up his pilot hat several years ago. He also enjoys sailing and spending time at the lake.
