‘Tis the season for Christmas carols, twinkling lights, holiday shopping and much more. As the holidays draw near, so does the end of the year. Though it’s easy to get bogged down with the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it’s important to take time to look back on the year behind us so we can make goals for the New Year ahead.
This year J.R. Prewitt not only celebrated 43 years of providing insurance services in Birmingham, but we also gave back to the community, received recognition for our partnerships and services, and grew our staff and revenue.
The J.R. Prewitt team is committed to giving back to our community, and this year, we are proud to have donated more than $60,000 to 45 different charitable organizations. Two of our favorite projects included Habitat for Humanity and sponsoring two families for Christmas. The Habitat for Humanity house we co-sponsored with Nequette and LIV Development was completed this summer. Seeing the impact our company can make on the community is a huge blessing to our entire team.
In addition to our philanthropic efforts, J.R. Prewitt was also recognized as Preferred Partner with Frankenmuth Insurance. Because we value the relationships we have with our insurance partners, we are honored and humbled to receive this recognition.
Last, but certainly not least, J.R. Prewitt welcomed Alexander Kontomitras to the team as a Risk Consultant and experienced the largest growth based on revenue in a year than ever before!
All in all, it was a banner year for J.R. Prewitt, and we could not have had such a successful year without our dedicated employees, devoted partners, loyal clients and supportive family and friends! We can’t wait to see what 2018 holds for J.R. Prewitt! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
